Kent Polley
Churchwarden - St Margaret's, Crick
Christian faith was around as I was growing up. I can remember watching ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ on a Sunday. I can remember a member of my family losing faith. I can remember ‘having to go’ to church with the scouts. I remember regularly going to midnight mass to find a real meaning to Christmas. I can remember realising that I went to the C of E, and that it was protestant; a term I had never quite understood the ‘significance’ of!
I remember my faith developing through working in faith schools. It still is. I remember joining an Alpha course and visiting the Rector in Crick for a wedding and a baptism. Each step brought me closer to St Margaret's and my current privileged position as churchwarden.
