Friends of St. Margaret's
The Friends of St. Margaret’s (FOSM) is a registered charity originally set up to raise money for the restoration of the tower and windows of the church. The group worked tirelessly to raise the £500,000 needed for the restoration which was completed in 2017.
However, the needs of a Grade 1 listed building are endless and so the group continues to fundraise to improve the internal and external areas of the church and make it fit for today's needs. The latest project to have been completed was the installation of a new servery in 2021. At St Margaret's we offer refreshments at all our services and we host many events throughout the year. The servery has made a big difference to the catering team.
Friends of St Margaret’s is run by a committee which meets up about every two months. It always welcomes new members with new ideas for fundraising. One of its most popular events is the 'CURRY and CASSEROLE' night. Come and join us for one of these opportunities and tantalize your taste buds.
