Churchwarden - St Margaret's, Crick
I come from a strong church family and my Mum and Dad, my sister and three brothers played an active part in our home church in South London. It was here that my faith was nurtured not only by my parents but also by the community around me. My faith is the golden thread in my life that holds everything together. That’s not to say that the thread always feels strong. Like many people, I have my moments when I have doubts. But I’ve come to really understand that at the heart of it all is my relationship with Jesus. For this to be strong I need to be proactive. I’ve found that the more I pray, the more I ask God for guidance and place him at the centre of my life, the more I meet the risen Jesus who challenges, nurtures and encourages me in everything I do.
I’ve worshipped at St Margaret’s since we moved to the area from Sussex with my work in 1994. I was elected as a churchwarden in 2021 and I’m also the Stewardship Officer. I’m a keen musician and play the piano and accordion in our worship group at the All-Age services.
