Growing up in South London my Mum and Dad, my sister and three brothers played an active part in our home church in Carshalton Beeches. It was here that my faith was nurtured not only by my parents but also by the community around me. As my faith has developed I’ve come to really understand that at the heart of it all is my relationship with Jesus. For this to be strong I need to be proactive. I’ve found that the more I pray, the more I ask God for guidance and place him at the centre of my life, the more I meet the risen Jesus who challenges, nurtures and encourages me in everything I do.

I’ve worshipped at St Margaret’s since we moved to the area from Sussex with my work in 1994. I was elected as a churchwarden in 2021. I’m a keen musician and play the piano and accordion in our worship group.
